12 Pdr Armstrong Rifle
The 12 Pdr Armstrong Rifle was one of many artillery pieces designed by British inventor Sir William George Armstrong. The Armstrong 12 Pdr Rifle, developed in 1855, had a 3 inch bore, came in both muzzleloading and breechloading versions, and could send a shell to a distance of over five miles.

The muzzleloading version of the Armstrong Rifle had a 3 inch bore, and the breechloading version had a 2.5 inch bore.
